Burin Boonvisut is a Thai singer and producer, and the frontman of Groove Riders. His songs — 'Yud', 'Sanya', 'Ther Thang Nan' — are still heard at weddings, in restaurants, and in the hands of teenagers starting their first band. The best part of being an artist, he says, is the happiness of it: he loved music, got to do the work he loves, and watched the audience and the hits grow, a happiness he could not find anywhere else. He once dreamed only of having a single song, famous or not; instead there are many songs and more concerts than he can count. Alongside music he runs businesses — cars, restaurants, a community mall, offices for rent.
