Pongthep Kradonchamnan — 'Na Moo' to his listeners — is a Thai singer, musician and poet of the phleng phuea chiwit (songs for life) tradition, known by the nickname 'the farmer's poet'. He played with both Caravan and Carabao, the bands that opened that tradition in Thailand, and was as well known for his talking on stage as for his singing. His signature is folk phleng Korat woven into Western arrangements, carrying lyrics about the lives of rural people and the inequality they live with.
