Maleewan Jimena — 'Mint' — is one of Thai music's great voices, and a diva who did not come up through a singing contest: she was already earning from singing as a child. Her album 'ปรารถนาและอารมณ์' (1991) sold over a million cassettes and put her at the front rank, with 'ขอเพียงที่พักใจ' the song most listeners remember from it. Others that have stayed include 'สงสารกันหน่อย', 'บัลลังก์เมฆ', 'ขอแค่ได้รู้', 'ไม่ผิดใช่ไหม' and 'รู้ไหมทำไม'.
