Chaliang released six albums between 1982 and 1991 — from 'ปรากฏการณ์ฝน' through 'เอกเขนก', 'เฉลียงหลังบ้าน' and 'แบ-กบาล' to a last record, 'ตะไคร่น้ำสุดขอบฟ้า'. They opened ground in Thai music on both words and melody in a way that was genuinely strange for the time: song titles like 'นายไข่เจียว' (Mr Omelette), 'กล้วยไข่', 'ถูกโฉลกเธอ' and 'ต้นชบากับคนตาบอด' still raise the question of how anyone arrived at them then. The line-up changed from record to record out of necessity, and the creative idea survived every change — enough that they are called Thailand's first boy band.
