Mai Thai is an ensemble led by Danu Huntrakul, who both arranges and writes for it. At their concert at the Thailand Cultural Centre on 22 August 2010 the group was Danu Huntrakul, Supattra Korat, Nat Porn Thammathi and Jamorn Supapol. That performance was recorded as the album Mai Thai Concert; the recording holds not only the songs heard that day, Danu wrote, but the smiles of a happy evening, and for anyone who could not be there it is a gift sent on. What the band plays crosses easily between Thai and Western music — Luang Pradit Phairoh's 'Khaek Sarai' and Manas Pitisan's 'Sanaeha' alongside Mozart's Turkish March and Chopin's Polonaise in A major — all of it in Danu's arrangements.
