Anton Davidyants is a Russian bassist — electric bass, double bass and piano — who works across jazz, fusion, ethno-jazz, rock and contemporary pop. He plays jazz festivals in Russia and well beyond it, and his first album under his own name, "Avalanche", sets jazz against classical writing across a six-part suite.
