Atom Chanakan Rattana-udom grew up in a house where everyone loved music. He began by singing, because singing was the easiest way to copy what came out of the radio, then picked up a guitar in primary school after seeing a friend bring one in. He drifted in and out of lessons until secondary school, when he got serious: he wanted a band, played guitar and wrote at the same time, starting by fitting his own words to melodies that were already hits. Bands brought disagreements, so he chose to write alone and record simple demos with an acoustic guitar. Most of his songs are about love that did not work out, told in plain, honest language — 'Please', 'ทางของฝุ่น', 'อ้าว' and 'พอ', each past a hundred million views.
