Ben Chalatit Tantiwut started out simply liking to sing as a child, then studied music until liking became loving. In 2001 he gathered friends from music college into a band called Monotone, whose song 'Celebration' went to number one on both Fat Radio and Modern Love. 'Turn Off The Light' and 'Susan Jones' brought him a wider audience. He later chose to tell the happier and harder parts of his life through a concert built as a theatre show — full production, staging, lights and sound, played close enough to the audience to feel it.
