Blue are a British boyband — Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan. For nineties and noughties kids they were part of growing up: their hits were the soundtrack to school discos, and people flicked through magazines for posters and argued over a favourite member. They had three number one singles, three number one albums and two Brit awards before the chart success stopped coming and their label dropped them. Twenty-five years after the band first got together, the four of them are preparing to tour again — a long way from the early videos of synchronised dance moves in dark rooms under bright lights. Growing up, they agree, has changed what matters most.
