Jay Park is a Korean-American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and dancer, born in Seattle. He founded the label AOMG in 2013 and H1ghr Music in 2017, then announced at the end of 2021 that he was stepping down as CEO of both while staying on as an adviser. In early 2022 he launched a new label, More Vision. The recognition his hip hop and R&B brought him is meaningless, he said, if he is the only one having fun while the people in it with him are miserable; he kept running however tired he was, because he wanted to build a better environment and a better life for the people he loves. He also hosts the Korean music talk show The Seasons: Jay Park Drive, and released 'Yesterday' and 'Love Is Ugly', a duet with Hwa Sa of Mamamoo. 'Yesterday' carries a sincere message, he says — love me as I am, not my circumstances.
