PREP are a four-piece indie pop band formed in London in 2015, drawing on 80s pop, R&B and jazz — which follows from where the four of them come from: a singer-songwriter, a classical composer, a house DJ and a hip hop producer. The name came from one member's habit of asking before a show, "have you done your prep?" Their first EP, Futures, arrived in 2016 and carried "Cheapest Flight"; the self-titled album followed in 2020.
