PURPEECH are a five-piece indie band from Chiang Mai who turned a farewell project into a full-time calling. Most of the members — friends from the Faculty of Education at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University — had been working as night-club musicians and posting covers online before guitarist Saint entered a local songwriting contest and won first prize; that winning song became the band's first release. Debuting in May 2021 with 'Ton Nan Nai Wan Nee', they went all-in, quitting their day jobs to chase the band under the MILK! artist platform. With tender, open-hearted singles like 'Sincare', '1920' and '.png', and a sweet ritual of fans bringing sunflowers to their shows, PURPEECH have become one of northern Thailand's most-loved young indie-pop acts, promising listeners that 'today, we're okay again.'
