SINGDVNCEFIST came together in 2019 out of a group of friends who grew up alongside each other. Their sound reaches back to 90s midwest emo, with punk and post-hardcore in it, and the songs are about the pressure of becoming an adult and the fear of growing up. They started in small indie shows and livehouses before their first release on Brand New Me Records in 2024 — "Backyard", "Moon" and "Summer".
