Tiffany Young is a Korean-American singer. She left her native California at fifteen to train under SM Entertainment and debuted as one-ninth of Girls' Generation in 2007 — a group that helped build the commercial and cultural framework for exporting K-pop globally. In 2017 she did not renew with the agency, while insisting her days performing with the other members were far from over: she is not the one who gets to say, but if the girls want to go, she is ready. She then set the foundation of a next chapter as a global solo artist, releasing English singles including 'Over My Skin' and 'Teach You', mounting her own North American showcase tour, and becoming the first female K-pop artist to attend the American Music Awards. She has also worked as a theatre performer. "Intentional", she says, is the perfect keyword for this chapter.
