TOGENASHI TOGEARI are a real band tied to the anime Girls Band Cry. Their members came out of an audition run by agehasprings; they voice the show's main cast, write and play its theme and insert songs, and perform live as a band. Yuri says they had each been posting clips of themselves playing or singing as a hobby, and were invited to audition after someone saw them: the audition was a song of the band's own, filmed and submitted for feedback, repeated and improved for about a year and a half. Everyone auditioned separately, Shuri adds. After the anime aired, five of their songs charted on Spotify's Viral Charts at once — rare for a new band — and in September 2025 they played their own show at the Nippon Budokan.
