Tong Pitawat Pruksakit — TWOPEE SOUTHSIDE — says that ten years ago in Phuket everything was pure and fun, with no work or business anywhere near it. 'ต่อยกับเพื่อนกูมั้ย' was made without thinking at all and became a hit nobody expected, maybe because it was so plainly him. Working with Thaitanium Entertainment opened a new world and put him on bigger stages; a hobby turned into the job, and that was when making music started to feel genuinely hard, every song carrying details that needed care. When he writes, he says, he considers himself to be making art, and moving into other styles is a challenge he enjoys rather than forces — the storytelling stays his either way. In 2018 he appeared on Asia's legendary rap programme Yo! MTV Raps.
