HoshiThai Concert & Fan Glossary — Ticketing Words Explained
On-sale announcements move fast and assume you already know the vocabulary. Here are the terms that come up most, in plain language.
Presale (พรีเซล)
An earlier sale round before the general public sale, often needing a code, fan-club membership, or a specific bank/card. Usually a better chance because fewer people can enter it.
General sale (รอบขายทั่วไป)
The main round open to everyone, with the remaining seats after any presale. This is the on-sale most people race for.
Virtual queue / waiting room (คิวออนไลน์)
An online waiting room that holds everyone at the on-sale time, then admits buyers in randomised or arrival order. Do not refresh once you are in it — that usually sends you to the back.
Standing zone (โซนยืน)
A ticket for a standing area with no assigned spot — position depends on arrival time. Contrast with a seated zone (โซนนั่ง), which gives a specific seat.
Sold out (บัตรหมด)
All tickets for a round or the whole show are gone. A show being sold out on one round does not always mean no more will be released — organisers sometimes open extra seats, so a trustworthy alert is worth keeping on.
Resale (ขายต่อ)
A ticket sold on by someone who already bought it. Resale above face value carries real risk — fake or already-used tickets, and many Thai tickets are bound to a name/ID. Buy from the official seller whenever you can.
