Show evidence →H 3 F stands for Happy Three Friends, which began as an offhand name for a three-piece — guitar, bass, drums — playing covers around the bars at night. Kong later used it again for his own songs, pulled Mom and Mac in, and put 'All Your Love' and 'City Light' on YouTube, shortening the name and spacing it out so Google could find them. When Kong and Mac's old band Penny Time stopped, the side project became the real one, and Ping came in on guitar. There are four of them now — Kong Thepwipat Prachumchoncharoen singing and on guitar, Ping Arakarn Chanthon on guitar, Mom Thanabat Somboonsit on bass and Mac Thakorn Anyapanon on drums — playing pop, funk and R&B under the line 'Cheesy lyrics, sloppy groove'. They have since taken the H3F Music Festival across six countries in Asia: a festival whose line-up the band chooses themselves, from the artists they love and are inspired by.
