VENN are an alternative folk band: Wan and App, formerly of Mattnimare; Pon, a film director and fine artist; and Top, a drummer who has played for Hugo and Polycat, among others. The single 'Alehouse Tale' pushed well past the folk rock of their previous album, far enough that people started talking about the band again. After Identity Crisis they returned with MöLKKY, a record that took them into deeper and wider territory, and threw a listening party so people could hear the whole thing before its release on 21 November 2024.
