Show evidence →COCKTAIL are a Thai rock band who spent more than twenty-two years with their listeners, led by Oam Panthapol Prasarnrajkit, the singer who also runs their label. In 2021 they released the first half of a double album, Fate αlpha, carrying 'Dueng Dan' with Tak Siriporn Yooyod, followed by Fate Ωmega the next year. Asked why make a new record in a period that challenges artists from every direction, Oam's answer was that they just wanted to — nothing else to it. At the end of January 2024 the band announced they were disbanding, two full years in advance, and planned what remained carefully: the concert Cocktail Khor Sob, a final album called Yours Ever, and an experiential exhibition turning two decades of songs into artwork. Even after saying he would stop, Oam says, he never once worked carelessly or less.
