Labanoon — Metee Arun on vocals and guitar, Anan Saman on bass, Nattanon Thong-on on drums — started as a band in cub-scout uniforms on the Hotwave Music Awards stage, signed to Music Bugs and released a first album, 'นมสด'. Along the way they nearly gave up and almost sold the guitars, scattering into other jobs. When they decided to reform because listeners kept asking, all of them quit at once — Anan left his job, Metee left a lectureship, which is a secure career. 'We walked out, smashed it, and went forward holding hands.' What followed was 'เชือกวิเศษ', 'แพ้ทาง', 'ศึกษานารี' and 'พลังงานจน', and 'เชือกวิเศษ' became the first Thai song to reach 500 million views.
