Lomosonic are the Thai rock band you feel in your chest before you hear the words. Formed in Bangkok in 2005 by a tight-knit group of architecture students, they honed their craft for years — repeatedly sent back to rework their demos — before Smallroom released their debut album Firework in 2009. Their sound fuses old-school high, soaring vocals with mathematically precise, post-rock guitar interplay, and their reputation was forged on stage: frontman Peerasit Poltan is famous for crowd-surfing, scaling the rig and screaming the band's name back at an audience that never stops climbing with him. Intense, cathartic and built for the mosh pit, Lomosonic turn every set into an act of full-body catharsis.
