Paper Planes are Hi Thanwa Ketsuwan and Zen Nakarin Khunpakdee. Hi had spent years behind other people's records — WONDERFRAME, PiXXiE, Mirrr, bamm, LOMOSONIC — before his own song 'เสแสร้ง' found a wide audience, and then 'ทรงอย่างแบด' turned into a phenomenon that had children across the country singing at the top of their lungs. The band became a kind of older brother to them, to the point of taking more daytime shows so they could actually meet. Their first full album, 1%, runs twenty-one songs distilled from what they and the people around them had lived through, and took four years to make. The title is a loading bar that has only just reached its first one percent.
