HYBS are a Thai duo who started in 2021: two close friends, Alyn and Karn. Their songs feel like a daydream — laid back, easy, R&B folded into pop — and within two years the music had travelled across the region, taking them to stages in Manila, Hong Kong, Bandung and Shanghai. Alyn describes how they work as vibing with whatever they feel at the moment and not thinking too much: with 'Tip Toe' they had the pre-chorus line, "I'll be putting on a suit, be tip toeing to you", the word tiptoe stuck, and the rest of the song was written out from there.
