The newest works on record
Motorama come from Rostov-on-Don in Russia and started in 2005 — though Vlad, who leads the band, says he is not into counting years or marking anniversaries, and the name came from a word a former bass player found. They describe their sound as sixties, seventies and eighties Soviet rock and new wave, sung in English. What people who follow them admire is that they are in a band to make the music they want to make and to catch the sound they are after, without worrying about explaining it to anyone.
