Coldplay are an English band fronted by Chris Martin. Moon Music is their tenth album. In his first and only written interview for the record, Martin described how it walked him through dark times. Self-deprecating, he said he has got worse and worse at describing songs over the years and would rather they just spoke for themselves — he did not want to seem pretentious or pretend to be cooler than he really is. When things appear overwhelmingly positive, he said, that is often because it is what the singer needs most. The band grew from a shy indie kid conquering the world one stadium at a time, and hold the record for headlining Glastonbury five times.
